Located in the Northern Pioneer of Paraná, Bandeirantes is distinguished by its fertile land and people willing to work, from different parts of Brazil and the world, with strong influence of the paulistas, Italians, Japanese and Portuguese, who were essential for the perfecting of the economic and tourist vocations of the municipality.
Among the city's activities are agribusiness, commerce, higher education and research, rural / ecological tourism and religious tourism. So, the best itineraries of Bandeirantes are the visits to the sanctuaries, traditional celebrations and options of contact with the nature.
WHAT TO DO
HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The Municipal Museum "Professor Maria Calil Zambon" is installed in the building of the old railway station. The exhibition pieces and documents depict the memory of the city and are classified by themes: historical context, wing of the pioneers, material context with railway station instruments and Japanese culture and immigration. These are old photos, images and documents, as well as the pieces used by the pioneers of the city.

CASTLE LA DORNI
La Dorni Castle is a small piece of Italy in Brazil. Constructed in an artisan way, there are more than 50 thousand sandstone stones used in the construction were carved by hand, seeking to maintain the fidelity of a medieval castle. On site, it is possible to visit the facilities of the wine factory, its wineries and enjoy a good wine.

The city of Bandeirantes has some important festivities during the year, especially: the Corn Festival, which always takes place in July, and celebrates the end of the corn harvest; the Festival of Nations, which is held by the main immigrant colonies of the city, always in September, and Fiaban, the Industrial and Agricultural Fair of Bandeirantes, always held in November, at the event and exhibition center "Lauro Teodoro da Silva ", receiving musical attractions, rodeos, exhibitions of animals and agricultural implements, workshops and courses focused on agribusiness.
MOON FAIR
Every Thursday there is a gastronomic gathering with several food and drink stands in the People's Park, accompanied by good music. Unique chance to taste the cuisine and know a little more about the local culture.
PARK OF THE PEOPLE
Built as a leisure option for the local community, Parque do Povo has become a major tourist attraction in the city, since besides the great lakes, it has a diverse range of leisure equipment, such as sports court, soccer fields, bocce, skate track, hiking trail, playground, outdoor gym. It is there that happens every Thursday night the Moon Fair.

TOURS
San Miguel Archangel Shrine
Third Largest Sanctuary of the World dedicated to the San Miguel Archangel, the place impresses by its size and beauty. Thousands of people visit the Sanctuary every day, but the main point is the celebrations that take place every 29th of each month. Always seeking to provide an experience of faith and hospitality, the sanctuary has a structure that contains a snack bar, a religious articles shop, toilets, a chapel of adoration and the pilgrim's house.
Santa Terezinha Shrine
The Shrine of Santa Terezinha do Menino Jesus is part of the Rosary Route and attracts tourists from all over the region, state and country. Everyday there are spiritual services in the Sanctuary, but the main point of the celebrations always happens on the first day of each month with the famous "Mass of the Roses", making the Sanctuary in a large rose garden.
Meeting of the Waters
Located approximately 15 km from the center of Bandeirantes, nature provides a beautiful spectacle: the meeting of two important rivers of the State, Cinzas and Laranjinha, which form several waterfalls and "prainhas", all surrounded by Mata Nativa. In this same region there are also various leisure options such as canoeing, cycling and nature walks.

Bandeirantes has a privileged location in the Northern region of Paraná, because it is 100 km from Londrina - PR and 80 km from Ourinhos - SP, by highway BR-369.
