Cathedral of Our Lady of Aparecida
Elevated to the status of a cathedral in the late 1970s, the local is the largest Catholic temple in the city, with a capacity of 1,500 people seated. Among its facilities is the Cathedral Museum Nossa Senhora Aparecida.
Paulo Gorski Ecological Park
Created in 1988, the park is the largest urban ecological reserve in the South of Brazil. In the center of Cascavel, the site has 111.26 hectares and houses an area of native forest, a lake and the municipal zoo.
Museum of Image and Sound – MIS
MIS currently has a valuable collection of approximately 50,000 items, including photographs, negatives, video tapes, slides and films in super 8 and 16 and 35mm, which date back to the period of colonization and development of the city.

Cascavel has a regional airport. It is also possible to get to the city from Curitiba, along the highway BR-277, in a route of 503 km.

GASTRONOMY
The typical dish of Cascavel is the ground-fried rib, also known as big rib, which is the barbecue prepared with a large piece of beef rib, stuck on a spit, with fire made directly from the ground, without the use of grills.
