THE CAPITAL OF FAITH

Lunardelli, located in the northern region of Paraná, in the Ivaí Valley, it had its political emancipation in 1979. Diversified agriculture is predominant in the city, with strong religious and faith traits due to the devotion to Santa Rita de Cássia, motivating the flow of faithful from various localities in search of graces through the intercession of the Blessed Mother of Urgent and Impossible Causes.

The municipality is recognized as polo and itinerary tourist of Paraná and has been awarded the title of Parana Capital of the Faith. For those who want to be close to nature, the countryside and to visit religious sights, it is a destination that can not be left out of your itinerary!

WHAT TO DO


TRACKS

Lunardelli has a Private Natural Heritage Reserve, the Swiss Forest I and II, located on the farms Urutagua and Ubá. They are the main " scenery" of the International Nature Walk in the city, passing through trails in the middle of the preserved forest and wonderful waterfalls to delight and refresh yourself.


RURAL TOURISM

For those who enjoy nature and rural life, do not miss going to Recanto Serra Azul and experiencing the delicious local food.


RELIGIOUS TOURISM

Every Sunday thousands of faithful and devotees come to visit the city and stroll through the grotto of Santa Rita, the Sanctuary, the Miracle Monument and the Plaza de Santa Rita.

TIPS

ARTESÃO’S FAIR
The fair consists of 33 stalls that are assembled on weekends, holidays and on the 22nd of each month. It is worth knowing the products made by the local artisans.

Monument of the Miracle of the Rose

The Monument of the Miracle of the Rose was inspired by a fact of the grace of God in the life of St. Rita of Cassia.

Built in 1995, on the local the devotees can thank the graces received, entrust their requests, make prayers and bring holy water to their loved ones.

Praça de Santa Rita

A wonderful square with a large image that marks the tribute along with the design of a rose, symbol of the devotion to the Saint of Urgent and Impossible Causes. The place is of meditation, silence and renewal of forces. There, luminous processions take place on the 22nd of each month. As is the devotional day to Santa, the night ends with a great firework display.

HOW TO ARRIVE​​​​​​​

For those going by car or bus, the accesses to get in Lunardelli are by the BR-272 and BR-369 highways.

The nearest airports in the city that have commercial flights are Londrina (160 km) and Maringá (120 km).

Lunardelli is 391 km from the capital.
