A JOURNEY TO ENJOY THE EYES AND THE PALADAR
In the early days, Pinhão built a fortress to defend itself against indigenous attacks. The time passed and today, the city of 30,200 inhabitants, which is in the CenterSouth Paranaense, welcomes tourists with open arms. In a scenario formed by waterfalls, rivers, rock walls, dam lakes and trails, the people conquers those who arrive through cultural expressions, such as handicrafts, music and dance.
With the economy based on agriculture, the municipality is a major producer of grains, milk and beef, but what can not miss are the yerba mate for a good mate and, of course, the edible seed that baptizes the place - the traditional and tasty Pinhão.

FISHING
Pinhão is a paradise for those who enjoy fishing. The municipality hosts stages of the Regional and State Championship of Fishing to the Goldfish and the Municipal Tournament of Fishing to the Barranco, in the Foz do Areia Power Plant.

What about practicing a physical activity surrounded by the most beautiful natural landscapes? The city promotes nature walks with itineraries that include beautiful places such as the Azaleas and Waterfalls Route. Prefer to pedal? No problem! The Volta Grande Challenge runs 28 km along the rural roads in the interior of the municipality.

PINION PARTY
Traditional local event, the Festa do Pinhão has an extensive program, with musical shows, dances, rodeo Creole, amusement park and gastronomic fairs. There is the commercialization of products based on pine nuts and yerba mate. Among the options, there will be X-Pinhão and treats with yerba mate flavor.
PARTY OF THE DIVINE
Held 68 years ago, the Party of the Divine attracts many devotees. During nine days, visitors participate in novenas and take advantage of the activities of the stands, such as auctions, bingos and musical attractions. The menu of the event counts on pastéis, pizzas, churrasquinhos, quentão without alcohol, among others. A special moment is the Folia do Divino, when groups of 16 people bless the houses of the community, taking with them the priest, the image of the Divine Holy Spirit and much singing.

Faxinal do Céu
Tourist focus of the municipality, the locality of Faxinal do Céu allows visitors to know, in a single place, plant species from all continents. The soil, the altitude and the climate of the region favored the good development of the species, which, between the months of March and June, provide a beautiful spectacle of colors. On site, the Professional Training Center of Faxinal do Céu works, a space for activities such as "healthy life time", fishing and artistic and cultural presentations.
Municipal Fishing and Leisure Area
On the banks of the Iguaçu River, in the Reservoir of the Bento Munhoz dam of Rocha Neto, the Foz do Areia Power Plant is very popular for fishing and has a good structure for visitation. The site offers grills, restrooms, boat landing ramp and soccer fields and sand volleyball.
Darci Brolini Square
Darci Brolini Square, which is in the center of the city, is a good choice for sports and leisure activities. In addition to hiking, it is possible to practice running and playing volleyball and football in a miniarena of synthetic grass.

To get to Pinhão, you need to travel on the BR-277. The highway has four toll points. The distance to Curitiba is 311 km. Travel time is approximately 4h20.

GASTRONOMY
The municipality does not have a typical official dish, but as the consumption of pine nuts and chimarrão is large among the population, merchants are being encouraged to develop pine nut and yerba mate dishes as a way to create a local gastronomic identity.
