VISIT THE CAPITAL OF PAPER
Located in the Campos Gerais region, Telêmaco Borba is based on commerce and industry, being the largest producer and exporter of packaging paper. In addition to composing the industrial raw material, the enormous pine and eucalyptus forests allow the maintenance and preservation of local fauna and flora, due to its native forest corridors.
According to IBGE, the estimated population of the city is 78,135 inhabitants. The municipality is limited to the north, with Curiúva; to the west, with Ortigueira; to the south, with Tibagi; to the east, with Ventania; and to the southwest, with Imbaú.
Besides knowing the natural beauties of the parks, the Casa do Artesão is a necessary stop for tourists. After all, it is always good to carry backpacks in the luggage for family and friends.

SQUARES
The visitor who walks through the city can enjoy the tranquility in the various squares. Among them, stands out the Square of the Family, also known as Square of the House of Culture, place where cultural activities take place.
ECOLOGICAL TRAIL
Walking along the ecological trail of the Municipal Park allows the tourist to contemplate the beauty of the local fauna and flora, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Tibagi River.

In commemoration of the city's anniversary, March 21, the Telemaco Expo brings together diverse attractions such as rodeo, machinery and equipment exhibition, amusement park and musical shows. It is worth checking!

Aerial tram
On the Tibagi River, with a free span of 1318 meters and 76 meters in height, the tourist crossing the tram will be dazzled by the view of the city, Tibagi River and Klabin Industries. Although it is a popular tourist spot today, the initial goal of the cable car was to transport employees and residents to the factory.
Craftsman's House
Made from wool, leather, wood and glass. These are some of the raw materials used in the items produced by the local artisans, exposed in the 800 m² of the Casa do Craftsman. In the charming building in rustic style it is also possible find embroideries, paintings on canvas and fabric, as well as the peculiar items made with ribbon tusa, material derived from waste from the paper industry. The tourist does not have to stay just looking, it is possible to acquire the products and take a beautiful souvenir of the city.
HOW TO ARRIVE
Located about 250 km from Curitiba, it is possible to arrive the city by the BR-277, BR-376, BR-373 and PR 160 highways. The nearest airport to the region, which receives commercial flights, is Ponta Grossa, 146 km away.

The tourist can rest in one of the several hotel options of high standard that the municipality offers. Most of them are located in the central region of the city.
GASTRONOMY
For lovers of araucaria seed, the city presents the pinto-pine tree as a typical dish. Posta vermelha, charque, tomato, garlic, onion, green scent, besides pinhão, are the basis of telêmaco-borbense recipe. Salads, white rice and farofa can accompany the dish.
